Artist's Comments
This is another of my personal themed projects that has been a long time in the wait.
I'll talk a little about the process of which this was composed. The model was shot separately from the backdrop. I used an external flash as a fill light (cool light from the left side of the model) and the warm setting sun as the primary light (right side of model). Other than that, I pulled a good landscape photo from my logs with a stormy sky and worked a couple of methods to match the lighting on the model. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. To help support the Literature community we hold regular contests. It is an opportunity for you to get involved and gain some exposure.
